This is something that I wish I would have been a lot more serious about even in my later 20's, but irregardless it is never to late to make improvements in ANY area of your life.

To Make- 4 oz lentil pasta (I used the lentil and brown rice blend from Trader Joe's). While water is boiling, chop up 1 cup mushrooms and 1/2 cup tomatoes. Add in your pasta to boiling water and cook according to package instructions.
While pasta is cooking, add 1 tbsp olive oil to skillet and start cooking the mushrooms for about 4-5 minutes, then add in tomatoes and cool for another 3-4 minutes. Then add in a very generous handful of spinach and stir until wilted.
Strain pasta and then add into skillet. Add in 1 tbsp olive oil and 1/2 tsp garlic, onion powder and Italian seasoning. Then add in 3 tbsp parmesan cheese, nutritional yeast or dairy-free cheese of choice. Last stir in 2 tbsp hemp hearts.
Option to add in red pepper flake and fresh basil to top. (Makes 2 servings)

Mushrooms are rich in niacin and Vitamin D- which can be helpful for those especially that are prone to acne, rosacea- and just the overall glow of your skin.
Tomatoes are truly a superfood for skin health! They help with collagen production, soothing inflammation, have anti-aging properties and help combat cellular damage.
Spinach has a ton of Vitamin A in it, which helps moderate your skins oil production- which helps control the moisture level of your skin. Spinach is also loaded with vitamin C as well, which helps with your skins elasticity and radiance.
Lentils are packed with fiber and protein, which are essential stabilizing blood sugar levels. When your blood sugar has crazy spikes throughout the day, this can have a huge impact on your hormones and the overall health of your skin.
