Are we really a month into this series?! Dannnng time is flying!!
Well my beautiful friend, I'm ready to jut get right into it! I'm so excited about this post because I want to share with you how you can have a mini glow up..and one that doesn't break the bank either!
We're here to look good AND feel good ;) So if you are ever feeling in a funk- doing these few simple, yet effective things can spice life up in the simplest of ways and completely change the game!
Mini Glow Up Tips
Nails- Alright. True confession? I'm HORRIBLE at painting my own nails. Down right horrible lol Anyone else?! haha So since the pandemic, I've really been into press on nails. I often get a ton of compliments on them too, and they just make me feel more put together! They typically last me about 7-10 days. I usually get a new pack for every week and they cost about $6-8 a pack. A gel manicure can cost upwards of $40 at most places, and often only lasts 2..mayyyybe 3 weeks if you are lucky. So this is a fun way to switch up your look each week and save a little money too!
New Perfume and/or Candle- Each season I like to get a new candle and also love to try out a new perfume. Often I'll get a smaller sized perfume so that it can last me a few months or so. Scent has a huge impact on our mood! So when picking out a new scent- go for something that speaks to how you want to feel during this season of your life. Energized and flirty, calm and romantic or maybe edgy and sensual? You pick the vibe that speaks to you!
At Home Spray Tan- Having a little Summer bronze glow totally can make you feel more motivated and energized! I really like the express self tanning foam by Bondi Sands. I find this formula gives a healthy glow without looking like "fake bake" lol and also find that it doesn't streak like some formulas can. I also find with Bondi Sands that you can really see where it is going as you apply it on your skin which. Definitely don't forget to get a self tanning mitt too for applying self tanner!
Lipstick or gloss- A new shade of lip color can switch things up in all the right ways! I find that when I wear a different shade of lip color other than my normal go-to's, it elevates my mood and gives me confidence to express myself.
Whether you try all of the above or one or 2..do something for that will make you look good AND feel good- you deserve it!!
Yep, yep- I have 2 recipes coming in, well not exactly hot..because they are meant to be enjoyed cool- hence, why they are perfect for Summer! And I realize that prior sentence really just showed a whole new level of weird lol
